Visited Australia in 2000. The only CD's I bought there were Kakadu, Uluru and Mariner.
Once back in the USA, I was unable to purchase any more of your music - what a disappointment.
A couple of years ago, a group of CD's were stolen from my van - thank goodness that two of your CD's that I had in the van were in the CD player; they weren't stolen. I was able to replace the other stolen CD's. Again a search for your music showed no hits.
And then ... about a month ago, I decided to make prints of the CD cover art for those CD's that had their jewel cases stolen. Well, I did not expect to be able to get yours, but tried anyway. And your website came up. What a wonderful surprise. After all these years, your music is available for me to buy!! |

Dear Tony, I am Australian living in Tennessee. I started my career in Hospice in 1990 in Mount Olivet Hospice in Brisbane. After many life's experiences and changes, I taught Yoga to your beautiful music in Saudi Arabia, I now have the honor of serving those who are dying once again. Would there ever be a chance of you making a CD to assist those who are dying, giving an atmosphere of peace and thankfulness to the patient and family who are going through this end of life process. You are one of the most talented people on this planet, I have watched you grow since 1978 and have shed many tears to your music for my beloved Australia. God has certainly blessed you with a gift which you have shared with millions of people, and I thank God that you have been a part of my life.
God Bless you always,
Ann |

I do a lot of travelling around this wonderful country and take lots of photos. Once we are home, I make a movie of the trip and Tony OConnor music is the best for not just regularly listening to but for audio on the movie. Thank you for the wonderful music. |

Hi Tony,
I have been listening to you "Touching Sky" for past 2-1/2 yrs now. Never knew it was your creation. Well, tonight while desperately searching for the artist behind it.. I came to know its your wonderful work.
I just want to thank you for it and thank god for bringing this wonderful gift into you. Touching Sky has been a comfort and support to me through a very very hard time and for some reason.. that compilation always seemed to help.
Thank you Thank you Thank you |

Hi Tony and Jacqui, I have just been listening to some of your beautiful relaxation music which reminded me how much my Mum (Cath Ledden) enjoyed it too. She talked about you both often. I will certainly be listening to more of your music every chance I get. I think it would be great to meditate to also. "Hall of Beginnings" is very mystical. Thank you! |

Hi Tony, I have just returned from a golfing holiday in Queensland with 15 ladies from New Zealand. While there we went to Montville and I had been kindly referred to Cadman Cottage by Richard Goldsworthy when we were at Eumundi Markets. I purchased 4 more of your CD's from Cadman Cottage and I now have a collection of 14 of your CD's! I spent a pleasant hour with the owners of Cadman Cottage and they were very friendly, helpful and patient. I bought my first CD - Rainforest Magic - in Taupo, NZ, back in 1994 and it is still my favourite. My husband and I often drift off to sleep while listening to one of your CD's. They certainly induce pleasant dreams. Kind regards, Sue |

Hi Tony,
You and your music are another reason why I am so proud to be Australian.
In a previous job of mine you were kind enough to donate some of your "Complete Calm" CD's for our Domestic Violence Women's shelter. What a difference you have made to these women and their recovery. Thank you thank you thank you.
PS Every time I put "Complete Calm" on my cat curls up and goes to sleep. I love it! |

I first heard Mariner holidaying in Caloundra, and my mum and aunty went out and bought the cassette, shows how long ago that was. Since then I have collected numerous other cd's, including your Sydney concert and Tales of the Wind. Like you having a song for when your mum passed away, my mum and brothers chose three songs from Tales of the Wind for my dads funeral 6 years ago. Since then, I often sit and listen to these songs as they bring back such great memories of him.
I to would like to show my appreciation for your wonderful work and hope that you keep it up for years to come. Wayne |

Hi Tony!
I first went to Australia with my family back in 1995 and we bought your CD Rainforest Magic. The best CD I've ever had! I've listened to it many times and it still remembers me very vivid of that trip.
A year ago me and my girlfriend went to Australia as part of an around the world trip and I was thinking about getting more of your work. Unfortunately I went home with nothing (never stopped at a music store...). But today I found that you have music on Spotify and now I have been listening all evening. I also found your homepage and that one can buy your music directly from you. I'm still a student, but when I get to earn some money, I will buy all of your work. I love your work and I love Australia and the images I get from listening to your music. You are a fantastic human being!
Take care!
/Sebastian |
